On 21 September 2019, LEDARS along with other CSO, and NGO organized School Strike, Youth Climate March and Mass gathering in Shymnagar Upazilla. The march started from upazila ground and end through a street meeting at Shymnagar Upazilla Bus stand presided over by Freedom fighter Master Nazrul Islam, the chairman of LEDARS executive committee. About 700 students and youth different schools and unions took part in this program. In this street rally, Mohan Kumar Mondal, Executive Director of LEDARS, delivered a speech and in his speech he demanded that, developed and new emerging country like India , China, Brazil, who are emitting more in the present day, have to reduce their carbon emission, they have to reset target of NDC, implement the Paris Agreement, provide compensation have to be provided that has been agreed in Parish Agreement. Saiful Islam, Md. Kamrul Islam, Sajeeb Hossain, Uzzal Hossain, Dr. Md. Abdul Mannan, delivered their speech in the meeting. Other organizations such as Shymnagar Upazilla press club, Jolobayo Parisod , Friendship, BARCIK and Shushilan expressed their solidarity with program.
