LEDARS distributed food gift to tiger widows and husband abandoned women at 20 April 2020 at 10am at LEDARS head office premises. About sixty families of tiger widows and husband abandoned women under the Weaving Lives Project received this gift with financial support of Christian Aid Bangladesh. each food package contains rice-30kg, pulses (Musuri -2kg, soybean oil-2liters, salt-1kg, etc. Mr. S.M. Ataul Haque Dolon, Upazila Chairman of Shyamnagar Upazila Parisad inaugurated the food distribution ceremony as a chief guest where as Executive Director of LEDARS, Program Manager Md. Sultanuzzaman, Admin Officer Mr. Asit Kumar Mondal, Project Coordinator Mr. Ranajit Kumar Mondal, Marketing Officer Mr. Debbroto Gain were present in the event. LEDARS organized this event by flowing social distance and other safety rule. Mr. Chief Guest were praised LEDARS to stand with destitute women in Sundarbans region while most of the NGO are salient in this Corona Pandemic.
