LEDARS has organized ten (10) leadership training for the science club member of 30 Secondary School in Shyamnagar upazila under the project of Promoting Science Education in Secondary School, supported by Bangladesh Freedom Foundation (BFF). The training sessions were held between 21 January to 27 February 2016. A total number of 356 executive members (male 190 and female 166 student) of 30 science clubs have participated on that training.
10 high level Government officials and Local Government representative attained those 10 training sessions. They were appreciating LEDARS’s initiative to empower the young leaders in the society who can take positive role to change society. More over, the ratio of science education enrollment has already been increased on average 193 % of those 30 schools. To building a digital country and society it is very important to increase science education. The 10 training venue were Vurulia Shirajpur School & College, Sofirunnesa Girls High School, Arpangashia PN High School, Tripani Secondary Biddapit, Burigoalini Forest High school, Banosrri Shikka Niketon High School, Patrakhola Arshad Ali High School, Poranpur A. Raouf Memorial School & College, Nakipur HC Pilot High School and Nakipur Pilot Girls high School respectably. The trainings are facilitated by Debbroto Kumar Gain, Project Coordinator, Ranajit Mondal, Program Officer, G. M. Moinul Islam, Monitoring & Evaluation Officer, Debironjon Mistri and Subrato Kumar Gain, Asst. Project Coordinator.
