The coastal area is one of the vulnerable area due to climate change and frequent disaster. COVID situation make the area most vulnerable. It is necessary to create awareness on COVID management, climate change and disaster preparedness. In this regards, LEDARS has broadcasted a 6 episode base radio program entitle “Struggle in Coast” to create awareness on COVID pandemic, climate change and disaster preparedness. The program has been broadcasted in FM radio station “Radio Nalta-FM 99.2” in every Sunday, at 4 pm. The episode has started at 19 July 2020 and end at 27 August 2020. More than 3 lack of listener of Radio Nalta has received the awareness-raising information in the southwest coastal area of Bangladesh. Bindu (a women lead youth organization helped to prepare the program. The elected representatives, Government official, human rights activist, social leaders, civil society members given their speech to the program. The major issue of the episode are COVID Preparation, Climate Change and our Preparation, Gender base Violence in COVID Pandemic, Disaster Preparedness, etc.
