Distribution of environment-friendly improved stoves in Shyamnagar of Satkhira

LEDARS has successfully distributed environmentally friendly improved cookstoves inBurigoalini and Gabura Union of Shyamnagar, Satkhira on 3 April 2024. The eventwas inaugurated by Mr. Haji Nazrul Islam, chairman of Burigoalini Union, marking asignificant step towards a greener future. 100 coastal families now have access to theseinnovative stoves. Supported by the Manusher Jonno Foundation (MJF) & the Embassyof Sweden, this initiative aims to combat air pollution and reduce GreenhouseGas(GSG) emissions. These modern stoves not only enhance air quality but alsopromote better health outcomes, particularly for women and children.
