LEDARS, the non-governmental development organization organized a gynecological and maternal health service camp at Khutikata village of Padmapukur union, Shyamnagar Upazila at January 25, 2022. UP Member Mr. Md. Liaquat Hossain Khokon presided over the inauguration ceremony of the health service camp. The medical treatment was provided by, Dr. Tania Sultana, MBBS, PGT (Gynecology & Obs). Due to salinity, malnutrition, other climatic consequences, Gynecological problem increasing in the coastal people specially island area. It is common phenomenon of the poor women of Shyamnagar, Asashuni and Koyra Upazilas of Satkhira and Khulna districts. The medical facilities are not functioning here because of the remoteness. In this circumstances, LEDARS organize Gynecological service camp regularly under its primary health care program.
