From very beginning of COVID infection in Bangladesh, LEDARS started COVID-19 response. LEDARS distributed hygiene package to vulnerable 1060 families in Shyamnagar, Asasuni and Koyra Upazila of Satkhira and Khulna district. The most vulnerable households like tiger widow, women headed households, left behind women, transgender, families with PWD received the hygiene packages. Each package contains 2 detergent soaps, 500 gm bleaching powder and 4 face masks in each package. Along with vulnerable LEDRAS distributed another hygiene package to 240 (200 Mosques and 40 temples) religious institutes. Along with hygiene package, LEDARS hang a flayer, with information of sign of corona, precaution, hand washing techniques, etc. The support has been distributed with the support of Bread for the World and Christian Aid. Local public representatives, Teachers, Journalist, potentials community peoples, youth leaders, government representatives, members of youth advisory committee participated with LEDARS during hygiene kits distribution.
