LEDARS organized Capacity Building Training for Climate Advocacy ForumMember in Khulna.

LEDARS kicked off a 2-day capacity-building training on Climate Change and Advocacyat CSS Ava Center in Khulna on 24 and 25 May 2024. This initiative aims tostrengthen the climate justice movement in the southwest coastal area of Bangladesh.Mr. Md. Tobibur Rahman, Director of Local Government, Khulna Division, inauguratedthe training and pledged support for the marginalized communities in the region. Heencouraged LEDARS to keep up the good work and stand by those most vulnerable.30 prominent civil society members, including journalists, teachers, and developmentactivists from Satkhira, Khulna, and Bagerhat districts, are participating. They willdiscuss climate change, advocacy tools and techniques, civil society movements, anddocumentation. The goal is to develop an action plan to boost the advocacy campaignin southwest Bangladesh. The training is organized under the project SLSCCVP fundedby Bread for the World.
