Coastal disasters are increasing day by day due to climate change. Salinity has also increased. Unemployment has increased due to decline in agricultural production. There is a shortage of fresh water. Due to the increase in salinity, various diseases including uterus in women on the coast have increased more than before. Many of the effects of climate change on Bangladesh are present in the coastal union of Gabura.

Due to the inadequacy of health services in this coastal union, the upazila health complex being far away and the communication system being underdeveloped, most of the women, children and the elderly fail to access health care service easily. LEDARS and Friendship Hospital have taken the initiative to organize free medical camp to ensure the health services of these vulnerable people and accelerate the development of the government. Around 400 patients have been given free medicine in this medical camp. Benefitted women greatly appreciated the camp and requested to provide this type of health service continuously.
