Youths are the potential part of the society but the youth in the country misguided and confused and involved in different unethical activities. In this context LEDARS has been implementing the Youth Mobilization and Social Change project with the support of Manushar Jonno Foundation and UK aid in Kaliganj and Shyamnagar Upazila of Satkhira district. The major objectives are to transform the youth as a resource for the country and to engage the youths in social activities for transforming a harmonious society.
To achieve these objectives LEDARS organizes 2 days long leadership development training with the participation of 30 youths in Kaliganj Upazila at the date from 26-27 December 2020. Shakh Saiful Bari Sofu, president of Upazila Youth Forum advisory committee, Kaliganj and Chairman, Upazila Press Club, Kaliganj inaugurates the leadership training. Shakh Anwar Hossain, President, Bangladesh Journalist Samitee, Kaliganj branch,Sukumar Das Bachu, General Secretary, Upzaila Press Club, Kaliganj, and secretary, Upazila Advisory committee, Upazila Youth Forum, Kaliganj, M. Hafizur Rahaman, Organizing Secretary, Press Club, Kaliganj, Atiqur Rahaman, General Secretary, Upazila online reporters club, Kaliganj deliver their valuable speeches to the participants during inauguration. M. Ranajit Barmon, human rights activist facilitates the training.
