A free gynecology and maternity service camp was organized by the non-government development organization LEDARS in collaboration with “Bread for the World” and “Friendship Hospital”. On 25th February 2021, the camp was conducted at the head office of LEDARS.
Dr Tasnuva Afrin, MBBS (IMCS), PGT (Gynecology & Obs.), RMO, FSS, an eminent physician, provided the medical services to the patients. Dr Mst. Anjuman Ara of Friendship Hospital, Consultant (Gyne & Obs.), MBBS, DGO, FCPS (Gyne & Obs.) and Dr. Elizabeth Sarkar, MBBS, (SBMCH), CMU (Ultra) were also present in the camp to serve the patient. More than 90 women received free medical services at the free medical care center on that day. These women received medical services for different issues including uterine, breast, urethral and pregnancy problems. In addition to the treatment, free medicine was provided to the patients. Beside this the patients are counseled on their various health problems.
