An extended part of LEDARS’s current project “Strengthening Livelihood Security of Climate Change Vulnerable People” is going to started in Koyra Upazila in Khulna district with support of Bread for the World. A project inception meeting was held in Koyra Upazila Auditorium at 11th August 2015.
Mr. Sayed Enamul Kabir, Upazila Nirbahi Officer of Koyra Upazila was the Chief Guest of the meeting. Besides this, Adv. Sheikh Abdur Rashid, Upazila vice-chairman, Koyra upazila; UP Chairman, Dakkhin Bedkashi, Md. Shofiqul Islam, Agriculture Officer, Project Implementation Officer (PIO), Livestock Officer of Koyra Upazila and Secretary of Koyra Upazila Press Club were the special guest of the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Mr. Dalim Kumar Ghorami, Treasurer of LEDARS. Mr. UNO said that mentioned in his speech that every beneficiary should be realize their present situation and try to improving their current situation. All NGOs should be very careful to beneficiary selection to avoid overlapping. We will provide all kind of support to LEDARS to implement of this interesting project.
