LEDARS has been organized leadership training for the leader of Union Climate Resilient Forum (UCRF) of different union formed by SLSCCVP project. The forum works for union level need-based advocacy activities as well as a coordinate the village level climate change related activities of Climate Resilient Groups (CRG) and LEDARS. LEDARS arranged this 2 day long training at “Center for Coastal Climate Resilient (CCCR)” to 44 persons (Male 13 , female 31) of 7 union unions of Shyamnagar, Asasuni and Koyra upazila. Topics of the training are climate change, human rights, people suffering, people rights, techniques of advocacy work, etc. In the concluding ceremony of the training, Khaleda Ayub Dolly, the Honorable Vice Chairman of Shamnagar Upazila Parishad, attended the program as chief guest and in her glib speech, she exchanged her views and prospects of LEDARS with the attendee. The valiant freedom fighter, Mr. Arun Kumar Roy also presented as the special guest.
