Tushar Sarkar is a dedicated development professional with expertise in climate change adaptation, mitigation, and environmental conservation. Currently serving as the Knowledge and Research Manager of the “Strengthening Livelihood Security of Climate Change Vulnerable People” project at LEDARS. he plays a key role in driving research, , and program development in climate resilience and sustainable development in Bangladesh.
Tushar is passionate about volunteerism development, youth empowerment, and emergency response. He actively contributes to policy discussions, community-based adaptation programs, and research on climate-induced displacement and loss and damage. His long-term vision is to bridge the gap between grassroots challenges and global climate policies, advocating for climate justice and sustainable livelihoods for vulnerable communities.
With a Master’s in Theatre and Videography from Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata and a Bachelor’s in Theatre and Performance Studies from Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University, Tushar brings a unique blend of communication, research, and storytelling to the development sector. His experience spans international and national organizations.
