On 𝟮𝟯 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, LEDARS organized a 𝗣𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗨𝗽𝗮𝘇𝗶𝗹𝗮 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻’𝘀 𝗔𝗳𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗿𝘀 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 at the cyclone shelter premises of Arpangashia Government Primary School, Burigoalini Union, Satkhira.

The event was held under the Community Based Climate Resilience and Women Empowerment Program (CREA) supported by Manusher Jonno Foundation (MJF) and the Embassy of Sweden and facilitated by the 𝗕𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗼𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗶 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽.

The program served as a vital social accountability tool—improving service quality, strengthening ties between providers and recipients, and raising awareness about women’s rights and empowerment.

✨ 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀:

• Chief Guest Mr. Sharid Bin Shafiq, Upazila Women’s Affairs Officer, explained the 12 services provided by the Women’s Affairs Office—such as microcredit, training, VGD card distribution, and prevention of child marriage.
• Beneficiaries openly shared their challenges.
• Officials and civil society members assured stronger steps for better service delivery.
• The event was chaired by GM Abdur Rauf, Panel Chairman of Burigoalini Union Parishad.

Such initiatives are paving the way for 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆, 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗿𝗼𝗼𝘁𝘀 𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘄𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻.
