LEDARS has successfully distributed environmentally friendly improved cookstoves in
Burigoalini and Gabura Union of Shyamnagar, Satkhira on 3 April 2024. The event
was inaugurated by Mr. Haji Nazrul Islam, chairman of Burigoalini Union, marking a
significant step towards a greener future. 100 coastal families now have access to these
innovative stoves. Supported by the Manusher Jonno Foundation (MJF) & the Embassy
of Sweden, this initiative aims to combat air pollution and reduce Greenhouse
Gas(GSG) emissions. These modern stoves not only enhance air quality but also
promote better health outcomes, particularly for women and children. Let’s applaud
