With the inspiring theme “𝗥𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗔𝗱𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻,” a vibrant 𝗥𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻’𝘀 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗙𝗮𝗶𝗿 took place on October 18, 2025, at Burigoalini Forest Government Primary School No. 71, Shyamnagar, Satkhira.

The event was organized by the women’s groups of Burigoalini and Gabura Unions under the 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆–𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻‘𝘀 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗖𝗥𝗘𝗔) project — implemented by LEDARS with support from Manusher Jonno Foundation (MJF) and the Embassy of Sweden — in celebration of Rural Women’s Day 2025.

👩‍🌾 Women participants proudly showcased their locally produced agricultural products in six stalls, 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗷𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳-𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲.

🎤 Guests at the event emphasized the vital role of women in Bangladesh’s agriculture and called for 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀, 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 for their invaluable contributions.

The fair not only 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗿𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝘄𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 but also inspired them to lead the way in 𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲–𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁.
