LEDARS has officially launched the “Climate Action at Local Level (CALL) Project” with the support of the 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗡𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗚𝗔𝗜𝗡). The CALL project is being implemented in Shyamnagar and Kaligonj Upazila of Satkhira district. LEDARS organized 2 project inception meeting was held on 11 November 2025 at the 𝗞𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗷 𝗨𝗽𝗮𝘇𝗶𝗹𝗮 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝗼𝗺, 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝗸𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗮 and 𝟭𝟯 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗵𝘆𝗮𝗺𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗿 𝗨𝗽𝗮𝘇𝗶𝗹𝗮 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗱 𝗛𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗥𝗼𝗼𝗺.

𝗠𝘀. 𝗔𝗻𝗷𝘂 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗹, 𝗨𝗽𝗮𝘇𝗶𝗹𝗮 𝗡𝗶𝗿𝗯𝗮𝗵𝗶 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿 (𝗨𝗡𝗢) 𝗼𝗳 𝗞𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗷, and 𝗠𝗿. 𝗗𝗲𝗱𝗮𝗿𝘂𝗹 𝗜𝘀𝗹𝗮𝗺, 𝗨𝗽𝗮𝘇𝗶𝗹𝗮 𝗡𝗶𝗿𝗯𝗮𝗵𝗶 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿 (𝗨𝗡𝗢) 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗵𝘆𝗮𝗺𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗿 𝘂𝗽𝗮𝘇𝗶𝗹𝗮 attend the meeting of the respective upazila as Chief Guest. Other Government Official, Chairman, Members of UPs., NGO representatives, Journalist and CSO representatives attended the events.

The CALL Project aims to strengthen community resilience to climate change by promoting locally led climate actions that enhance food security, improve nutrition, and build adaptive capacity among coastal populations.

The project will 𝗱𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝗯𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗳𝗶𝘁 𝟮,𝟳𝟲𝟬 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘀, while also forming and activating multi-stakeholder platforms to engage 𝗴𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘀, 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 in advocacy and campaigns on 𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗮𝗱𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗼𝗱, 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵, 𝗻𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴.
