𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗚𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻’𝘀 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 & 𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲

On August 25, 𝗟𝗘𝗗𝗔𝗥𝗦 𝗵𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗮 𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗚𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 at Shyamnagar Muktijoddha Complex, Satkhira, with support from Manusher Jonno Foundation (MJF) and the Embassy of Sweden under the 𝗥𝗘𝗔 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁.

Led by Freedom Fighter Master Alhaj Nazrul Islam, Chairman of LEDARS, the event brought together community members, activists, and local leaders. 𝗠𝘀𝘁. 𝗥𝗼𝗻𝗶 𝗞𝗵𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗻, 𝗨𝗡𝗢 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗵𝘆𝗮𝗺𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗿, joined as Chief Guest, stressing the urgent need to:
🔹 Recognize women’s unpaid domestic work
🔹 Address the disproportionate impact of climate change on women and children
🔹 Strengthen the fight against child marriage

Key speakers included local government officials, law enforcement, women’s rights advocates, and social workers. Voices from climate-affected communities took center stage, sharing their struggles and pledging action for 𝘄𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻’𝘀 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀, 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲.

Participants joined a symbolic handprint protest to demand recognition of women’s unpaid labor—a powerful call for equality and resilience.

Together, we’re building a 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲, 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿-𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆.

Solar Power Reverse Osmosis Plat has been installed for piloting in Bangladesh.

LEDARS has installed a solar powered mobile Reverse Osmosis (RO) has been installed in LEDARS Campus for piloting and Research and Development. This potable unit has been imported and experimenting by CCECC, China. This attractive water treatment plant is run by solar, and no electricity is needed.
