Supporting Youth-led Climate Research in Coastal Bangladesh

𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀:
🌍 Climate change is deeply affecting lives and livelihoods in southwest Bangladesh.
🔬 To address this, LEDARS awarded Climate Research Fellowships to 4 young scholars on June 30, 2025, through its Climate and Adaptation Knowledge Management Center.
🏛️ The award event took place at the Khulna Regional Office, joined by academics and LEDARS leadership.

👩‍🔬👨‍🔬 𝗙𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗝𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗿, 𝗞𝗵𝘂𝗹𝗻𝗮, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗞𝗮𝘇𝗶 𝗡𝗮𝘇𝗿𝘂𝗹 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀.

• Salinity and agricultural adaptation in Shyamnagar
• Climate-induced migration in Satkhira
• Mental health impacts of climate disasters
• Indigenous Munda community’s adaptation strategies
